Leaks have been confirmed today by the official announcement of the Brasov city hall! The 2025 Poiana Brasov ski season starts tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18th as reported one week ago.
It's a partial opening of the ski resort which includes:

The upper slopes of the Postavaru Massif including: Drumul Rosu, Sulinar and Lupului until the lower station of the Ruia chairlift.
Fact: This means that skiers and snowboarders will have to use the Telegondola to reach the upper part of the resort and the same lift to return to the bottom station, after they finish sliding on the upper slopes!
Important: The Telegondola requires ski-pass validation on return trip too! Do the math and plan your points or time-bank accordingly!

The Stadion beginners ski slope will also be open.

Bradul beginners slope is uncertain at the time of writing. Officials are trying to open it too, but the recent heat wave has reduced the snow layer. A final decision will be taken tomorrow morning.
All skipasses including the season-pass will be available for purchase starting with December 18th. You can check out the updated prices over here!
Important: If you have points and hours left on your ski-pass from the 2024 season, you can use them this season too!
